Making a user account

  • I don’t know if I have a user account. How do I know?

login-full.enClick on Forgot password? at the  Login page oder here directly >, enter you email address and click ‘Submit’. (see 3.)

  • If you already have a user account, you get the following notice: ‘New password has been sent to your email address‘, and you will be redirected to the login page. Now check the inbox of your mail account, and copy the new password. If you don’t find the email, also check your spam folders or trash. Now go back to the  Login page, and enter your email and password to log in.(1)
  • If you don’t have an account, you get the notice ‘Could not find a user with this email address‘. If you entered the correct email, it means you have no user account.   Then go back to the Login page, and  click on ‘Sign up (2) or  click here directly  >. Fill up the form, select a password you can remember, and click on ‘Submit’ , and viola, you will be in the reservation system, and can book passwDarshan dates as described below.

  • I am trying to make a new account and it says “For this E-mail an account already exists. ” What do I do now?

sign-upThis means that you already have an account.  Your account may have been created by our office or by importing a mailing-list. In either case, you do not need to create a new account. Click Forgot password? (3) on the Login page,  or  click here directly > enter that same email address you were trying to use and a password will be sent to you.

To reset your password and/or update your information, log in using the password sent to you, click on Profile (on the second row from the top).

  • I am trying to login and get the message: “Invalid email and/or password combination”.

Please check first if you entered your email correctly. If you get the same message again, click on  Forgot password? (Image:3) or go here directly >  Enter you email and click  ‘Submit’.    If you see the notice: ‘New password has been sent to your email address‘. Check the inbox of your mail account, and copy the new password. If you don’t find the email, also check your spam folders or trash. Now go back to the  Login page, and enter your email and password to log in. If you get the notice ‘Could not find a user with this email address‘,  then click on ‘Create user account‘  or  click here directly  > Fill up the form, select a password you can remember, and click on ‘Submit’ . You will be in the system directly, and can go ahead making appointments.

  • I have forgotten my password! What do I do?

Click Forgot password?  (Image:3) on the Login page, or  here directly > enter your email address and a password will be sent to you.

To reset your password and/or update your information, log in using the password sent to you, click on Profile (on the second row from the top).

Making Darshan Reservations

  • How to register for several Darhans at once?reserve

To do this simple click on dates when you want to come to Darshan on the calendar on the left hand side.  The description of dates and session times now appear on the right hand side. When you have made your choice, click Register.

  • How to book for other people too?change-e

You can book for up to 9 Individuals per reservation. Choose your dates, click Add attendees to enter information on those you are making a reservation for and when done click Register.

We save the list of people you have come to Darshan with for you, so that in the future, you simply need to tick the box in front of the name.

addpersonPlease make sure that for all the people accompanying you – including yourself – the box before the name is ticked and always click on ‘Register’ or ‘Update registration’ afterwards (the green button.)

If you no longer want to see a give name on edit3your list, click Edit button behind the name, and the in the edit-mode, click on hide and the name will disappear from your list. Please do so only for people you are sure, won’t accompany you in the future!

  • How do I cancel a Darshan reservation?

Log in and then under My upcoming sessions click on the link ‘Edit behind each session you want to change. Then, again behind the line of your session click on cancel‘.  Now the system asks you to confirm the cancellation. Do this by clicking Yes.

  • How do I add or remove people from a given Darshan session?

change-e2Log in, now under My upcoming sessions click on the date and time of session you wish to change (e.g. 29. March, 2013 16:00 Darshan Schaumburg, Germany), or click on edit. Now you can add/remove people to/from this session by ticking or un-ticking the box in front of their names. Make sure you click on ‘Update‘ (the green button) to save the session. An accompanying person is only registered if the box in front of their name is ticked

  • I am organizing a big group attendance of Dashan. How do I register online?

Please call the office (Contacts) so arrangements are made there for you to be able to insert a big group into the online registration system.

  • How to I change my information (e.g. name, in case of marriage)?

To update your information, log in and click on Profile (on the second row from the top).

How can I check my booking is confirmed?

  • You will receive a confirmation email

If you don’t receive a confirmation email, check the spam-folder in your mail box.

  • What if I did not receive the confirmation email?

If you don’t see your booking there, log in again, and see if your bookings are displayed on the right-hand side. All your sessions should show up now under ‘My upcoming sessions’. If not, you have forgotten to register your sessions. Select your sessions again, including all the persons accompanying you, and then click on ‘Register‘ finally. Now your bookings are saved, and you will receive your confirmation email

  • How do I know that I have really registered my friends?

Click on each session you have booked, and make sure, your friend’s name is listed, and make also sure that the box next to his name is ticked. If not, correct it, and make sure you click on ‘update‘ at the end of the page. Do this for each session your friend wants to come.

  • I have made reservation for another person under my name, but I cannot come myself now. How can I cancel myself, but not the other person?

Behind the line of the session, click on ‘edit‘. Then remove the tick from the box before your own name. Now click on ‘Update registration‘  (the green button) to save this. Do this for every single session, you want to cancel yourself. At our check-in list, the name of the person coming is still listed under your name, but your name will show in italics now, indicating that you have canceled your own name. Please inform the other person that he is listed under your name.

Are there any rules regarding Darshan I should know?

  • Visitors should be able to sit quietly and should have stable enough health to be able to attend the
    Darshan without causing disturbance.
  • Come dressed normally and with washed hair. Wear clean socks or soft slippers during Darshan.
  • Please turn off your mobile phone before entering the building.
  • Check-in starts 30 minutes before.
  • Mother Meera recommends that you will sit before and after your personal Darshan in silence – go
    deep within, meditate, remember a Divine name (doing Japa). Do not leave the hall immediately, but
    stay for the whole period of Darshan if possible. The Darshan may take about 2  hours.
  • Can I receive Darshan if I’m in a wheelchair?

Unfortunately we can not provide the personal Darshan for wheelchair drivers on the stage, as we cannot transport wheelchairs on the stage. Yet, wheelchair drivers can receive the collective Darshan in the hall.

  • Can children attend the regular Darshan?

All children  can participate accompanied by their parents. They should be able to sit about half an hour quietly. Babies and very small children can accompany their parents, for example in their arms, and will be guided to Mother directly and also leave the main Darshan hall directly.

Children who can follow the Darshan procedure can come to Mother at the beginning of Darshan and then leave after half an hour. Please register children along with you for the evening Darshan following Children’s meditation.

How often can I come to Darshan?

To give as many people as possible the chance to attend Darshan, we have had to set some rules:

  1. One can only come to one darshan a day
  2. The number of reservations that can be made ahead of time may be limited. Limits vary according to general Darshan attendance at any given time.
  3. Non-European residents can come for 2 weekends in a row. In order to be able to do so, phone the office
  • What are the Darshan dates and times?

cale-e Please check the online calendar for the dates and times in different locations. Our registration system also has a built-in calendar.  Go to the Login page on the left side you will see a list of events. Scroll down on the left side, until you see the buttons ‘show next’, and ‘show previous‘. You can navigate the whole calendar in this way, without having to be logged in.  In general there is Darshan on three days at Schloss Schaumburg, Friday 4pm & 7pm, Saturday and Sunday each 3pm & 7pm.

  • The calendar doesn’t show all dates. How can I find events in the future?

cal-popup-eJust as described above, go to the Login page scroll down and click on ‘show next‘ at the bottom of the page. There is also an alternative way to navigate directly to a specific date. Next to the button ‘Today‘  there is a field showing today’s date. Click in it, or at the little calendar icon next to it. A small calendar overview will appear, you can navigate to the proper month, by clicking the little arrows, and then select a specific date. Now the list of events below will start from that date onward, and you can proceed doing a booking as described above.

  •   How do I find events in a specific country or city?

At the left column of the Login page is a filter which is shown to the right of today’s date, saying ‘Country’. Choose a sepcific country, and only the events in this country are shown in the list below. If the events cannot be booked via our reservation system, a link to the homepage of the local organizer is shown.

  • Is there a fee for Darshan?

No, Darshan is free of charge, no payment is required.

  • Can I come to Darshan without making a reservation?

No, because of limited space, reservations are necessary. Please use our online reservation system.

Also, please don´t forget to change your reservation (in case of changes on cancellations).

  • What if it really is not possible for me to make an online reservation?

If you really cannot do this and have no-one to help you with it, we do have a phone line open daily

Please do not use the phone reservation just as means of convenience but only if online reservation is not possible.
